I discovered Robin Atkins’ work and books in July.I wanted her book,Beaded Treasures, and chanced upon One bead at a time as well. This book promised to tell me all that I know about letting go of my mental block and use bead embroidery to express feelings words couldn’t/wouldn’t do justice to.
Reading the book was therapy enough:)…and lots of inspiration. For one,I saw a bright way of finally being able to use tubes and tubes of beads I hoard all the time:).Beads are a treat and an addiction that lasts a lifetime….hold some in your hands and feel the magic!
This is my second piece…it took quite a while for two reasons…one,I was a little too busy these last two weeks…and two,the muse guided me with the lower half of the piece only today:)….and it all fell into place.
The piece,to me,is a story of a quest…..I cd tell you more but why don’t you tell me what it reveals to you??
I’ll be back to talk more about it in a bit…in the meanwhile,do tell me what this piece tells you:).
Gracias:)!
